I want to share a quote I came across recently, as I was planning a corporate session to mark International Women’s Day earlier in the week.
« I am strong enough to carry to world on my shoulders, vulnerable enough to ask for help when I stumble, humble enough to admit the mistakes I’ve made, confident enough to laugh at myself on good days and bad, woman enough to take it all, and give it all. I am enough. »
I think it’s so important that we remind ourselves regularly that we are enough. We have everything we need inside of ourselves. We are more capable, more resourceful than we think. Stronger than we know. We always have the answers, and the solutions. We are never going to be perfect, because that doesn’t exist.
But we are always enough.
With the constant noise, and often the chaos of life, it can be easy to become disconnected from this knowing, this wisdom.
I know this well. I experience like most of us the feelings of fear, of lack, of self-doubt. I often need some support at these times – from some wonderful women – to remind myself that I am enough.
Other times I can regain that feeling of ease, of abundance, more easily, within myself.
So women, I encourage you to do what it takes to find that place within yourself, where you know you have everything you need inside of you.
Then you will always have that knowing to return to, when you need it most.
You got this.
Because you are enough.
